About Our Church
Our Story
The Anglican Church of the Resurrection has been a steadfast spiritual presence in Moose Jaw, deeply rooted in the Anglican Church of Canada and the Diocese of Qu'Appelle. Our history is intertwined with the growth of the Saskatchewan prairies, serving generations of families who have brought their faith, resilience, and hope to this community.
From our early days gathering in modest buildings to our current home on Oxford Street, our mission has remained unchanged: to bear witness to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We are a parish that honors our Anglican heritage while actively seeking fresh expressions of faith to serve the modern world.
Today, Church of the Resurrection is a vibrant, inclusive parish. We believe that the church is not a building, but rather the body of believers called together to worship, broken open for the life of the world, and sent out in loving service.
Our Mission
"To proclaim the resurrection of Christ through worship, service, and an inclusive community of faith in Moose Jaw and beyond."
